Knee traction therapy decompresses the joint space, stretching the tissues and allowing more blood flow to the supportive ligaments and tendons of the knee joint.
It can also help stimulate synovial fluid production to help lubricate the knee joint and nourish the articular surfaces. This process allows greater ease of joint motion, decreased pain, and increased function.

River City Chiropractic Specializes in Chiropractic Care
More than 70 million Americans suffer from pain in their knees or joints, a condition caused by damage or wear and tear. Whether you are working, resting, or spending time with your family, chronic pain ultimately diminishes your quality of life.
Our patients experience substantial decreases in knee pain, increased relief from pressure, and diminished numbness and tingling, all of which are common benefits of knee decompression.

Things like stress or poor body mechanics may cause joints to sublux (move out of place). Decompression helps realign the knee joint, preventing further pain or inflammation.

Decompression imposes a vacuum-like force on the knee joint, which helps to draw healing fluids, cells, and other substances toward the damaged tissue.

Our approach also relieves pressure on the knee joint to reduce pain and improve mobility and function. Our goal is better health and an improved quality of life for you.
